Leadership

Jason Steinbock, PE, BEMP, LEED AP BD+C, is The Weidt Group’s Director of Business Development, leading the deployment our consulting services and advanced energy performance simulation software. He works with architects, engineers, building owners, and utilities to help them achieve higher-performing buildings. Jason has deep expertise in comparative energy modeling, lifecycle analyses, daylighting, and monitoring completed buildings to verify that intended energy performance goals have been met. He regularly shares his expertise at national and regional conferences.

Jim Douglas, PE, LEED AP, is Director of Energy & Software Services, providing leadership for the development of energy and design software services. Under his direction, the firm annually provides energy and design assistance services for high-performance buildings for over 500 commercial projects in both the public and private sectors. Jim’s career work on energy conservation projects encompasses over 450 projects totaling more than 52 million square feet. He shares his expertise on topics such as energy efficiency, implementation, and evaluation at local, regional, and national conferences.

Rick Fritz is Director of Energy Software, bridging the gap between energy consulting/modeling and software development to produce software solutions for the energy consulting industry. A visionary champion for software tools, he designs their architecture and manages their development throughout the entire development lifecycle. Rick was responsible for development of advanced energy software including our WeidtSpace program management tool and our cloud-based energy simulation tool NEO Net Energy Optimizer®.
